I was hooked to this book from just the blurb! I found myself laughing out loud, felt irritated at parts, sadden by knowing what was coming and I can’t imagine going through something such as this as a mother myself.
There was only one piece that bothered me in this book was the build-up of what the f*ck could possibly be the reason of Paul leaving for over a decade; waiting in anticipation for the truth and finally finding out why… let’s just say once the reason was revealed, my reaction: That could not be it? What. In. The. Actual. Fuck. Dumb. Ass.
Butt (pun intended), that’s just me… maybe I like a punch to the gut and others can appreciate more than I am able to.
Regardless, it was a great read!
